What About Websites?

If you have a website for your business, make sure its intent is “communication” rather than “marketing.”

Your Simply Enroll “marketing website/PURL” is already pre-approved and provided by The Brokerage at no cost.

Communication Website To-Do List:

  • Add the required disclaimers.
  • Remove carrier logos (unless previously approved by the carrier).
  • Do not use “Medicare” in your domain or website name.
  • Do not market plan-specific information.
  • If you have a lead form, make sure it’s clear that a licensed insurance agent will be contacting the prospect.
  • Do not ask for age/birthday/health status.

For the sake of simplicity, consider removing lead forms from your website altogether and replacing them with your phone number.

That way, you are encouraging inbound calls rather than collecting personal information.
